China and Central Asian nations are set to strengthen economic and business ties, offering new opportunities for Chinese entrepreneurs, particularly in Kazakhstan. Officials hope this trend will extend to other countries in the region, fostering greater cooperation across Central Asia. Kazakhstan has consistently supported the development of China-Central Asia relations. Kazakh Ambassador to China, Nuryshev Shakhrat, emphasized that initiatives like the second China-Central Asia Summit, held in June 2025, marked important milestones. The summit adopted the treaty on eternal good-neighborliness, friendship, and cooperation, while the Kazakh President outlined a long-term strategy to deepen the partnership. “The China-Central Asia model benefits not only the participating countries but also neighboring nations and beyond,” Ambassador Nuryshev said. He noted that the partnership framework is in high demand and is widely recognized for its strategic significance in the region. This collaboration aims to boost trade, investment, and sustainable development across Central Asia.
