A new series of children’s workshops is now helping young minds in Marbella grow and flourish through mindfulness, creativity and play. Using the “Método Estrella” (Star Method), the engaging sessions combine art, games and self-awareness to help children build confidence, emotional balance and communication skills in a fun, nurturing way. Led by Carmeta, a certified Star Method practitioner with more than four years of dedicated experience, the workshops are carefully designed to help children discover their unique talents and inner strengths. Each session encourages free expression, creativity and emotional awareness while helping children connect with nature and others in a positive, inspiring environment. Sessions are available in small groups or privately, ensuring that each child receives personal attention and space to grow at their own comfortable pace. Activities include creative expression through arts and crafts, storytelling, music and movement, alongside mindfulness and breathing exercises that promote calm and focus. Children also enjoy valuable time outdoors, learning about the world through play and developing curiosity, empathy and confidence. Parents are encouraged to view the workshops as a gentle, enjoyable and rewarding way for their children to gain emotional resilience and independence, benefits that often extend into their daily lives at home and at school. The Star Method uses creative tools such as drawing, movement and storytelling to guide emotional learning. It links closely with the growing trend of arts-based education on the Costa del Sol, seen in other local initiatives that use creativity to support wellbeing and personal growth. Through mindful art and play, children learn to express emotions in healthy ways, developing focus and empathy along the way. It has also been successfully implemented in schools and family programmes across Spain, earning praise for its simple yet effective approach to emotional development.
