Chiefs Still Have 2 Key Week 4 Injuries Amid Xavier Worthy News

The Kansas City Chiefs had everyone on the 53-man roster practice in some capacity on Wednesday, September 24, ahead of a massive Week 4 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.
Head coach Andy Reid confirmed this news while speaking with reporters on Wednesday of Week 4, but he downplayed the best part of all. Rising star wide receiver Xavier Worthy was a “full” participant in the first Week 4 practice, according to Chiefs Digest beat reporter Matt Derrick.
“We’ll just evaluate him and take it day by day,” Reid said of Worthy. “He feels good, so we’ll see.”
Unfortunately, despite the generally clean bill of health, there are still two starters working their way back from injury. And these are two situations worth monitoring as we get closer and closer to the weekend.
Cornerback Kristian Fulton (ankle) and defensive end Mike Danna (quad) both missed Week 3 after suffering injuries early in the game in Week 2. Per Derrick, both were “limited” on Wednesday, meaning they are not back to full strength just yet.
Although the Chiefs’ defense played well without Fulton and Danna against the New York Giants, it’s worth pointing out that the Ravens’ offense — led by perennial MVP finalist Lamar Jackson and future Hall of Fame running back Derrick Henry — should be a much tougher challenge for this unit.
Kansas City has depth at cornerback, but they are especially shallow at defensive end after a couple of preseason injuries. It’d be helpful to get one, if not both, of these defensive reinforcements back for Week 4.
