Chiefs' next three games are against current AFC playoff teams It was a lot of work digging out of an 0-2 hole, but Kansas City is now entering its most crucial portion of the 2025 season. Their next three games are as follows: At Buffalo Bills (5-2, No. 5 seed) At Denver Broncos (6-2, No. 3 seed) Vs. Indianapolis Colts (7-1, No. 1 seed) That is a brutal stretch, but also a heck of an opportunity. A win against the Bills will give the Chiefs a better record and the tiebreaker over them. Beating the Broncos gives K.C. a leg up on them ahead of their pivotal Christmas Day matchup in Week 17, and a victory over Indianapolis keeps the Chiefs in striking distance of the No. 1 seed.Winning the division is the first priority, making their matchup against the Broncos the most important of the three. That game will take place in Denver, but K.C. will be coming off a bye week. It's a bit of a toss-up which game carries the second-most importance, but even if the Chiefs can go 1-1 between them, they'll be in good shape. The schedule lightens up a bit after that span, but a huge rematch against the Los Angeles Chargers, who K.C. lost to in Week 1, looms in Week 15. Although they have losing records, matchups against the Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys won't be easy. The Texans currently have the No. 1 overall ranked defense in the NFL, and Dallas ranks second in total offense. Two of K.C.'s final three games of the season come against the 1-7 Tennessee Titans and 2-5 Las Vegas Raiders. That could give the Chiefs a major advantage while jockeying for playoff positioning, but if they don't take care of business against the good teams, they will be setting themselves up for a tough road to reach their fourth consecutive Super Bowl.
