Chief Creative Officer Teases New Encanto Attraction at Disney World

Jared Bush, the Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios, has posted a message teasing the new Encanto attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Encanto Attraction
At last year’s D23 event, we learned that Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be home to an all-new Tropical Americas land, replacing the almost-extinct DinoLand U.S.A.
This land is set to include a brand-new Encanto attraction, which centers around the day Antonio receives his magical gift of talking to animals. Guests will journey through the house in vehicles inspired by furniture Casita has brought to life.
Guests will also get to encounter characters like Mirabel and Bruno, and we’ll see beyond the movie’s storyline.
This attraction will open in 2027 along with the rest of the Tropical Americas land. The town in the land, officially called Pueblo Esperanza, will also feature a carousel, while DINOSAUR will become an Indiana Jones ride.
Jared Bush
Jared Bush, who is the Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios, teased that the dialogue will include “new words for the magical, fantastical Familia Madrigal.” He also states that we won’t believe what the Imagineers are cooking up for this ride.
Jared Bush was named Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of Walt Disney Animation Studios in September 2024. He oversees the creative output of the animation studio, including its films, series, and associated projects.
He received the Academy Award in 2022 for Encanto, for which he was both director and a writer.
“Jared Bush is an incredible filmmaker and a talented executive who’s been a prominent creative force at Disney Animation for the past decade, and I am thrilled that he’ll be taking the reins of this storied studio,” Disney Entertainment Co-Chairman Alan Bergman said.
