October 2025 will be a month full of festivals and holidays for students. Schools and colleges across India will have multiple breaks due to festivals like Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath Puja. Schools in Chhattisgarh will be closed for six days in celebration of Dussehra. The holidays will span from September 29th to October 4th, 2025. Dussehra, symbolising the triumph of good over evil, is celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country. Schools in Chhattisgarh will have Diwali holidays for a total of six days starting from October 20th to 25th, 2025. Diwali is one of India’s biggest festivals.
