    Chelsea identify young talent they rate in the same bracket as Estevao Willian

    Simon Phillips, writing on Substack, has said that Chelsea see similarities between Satpaev and Estevao.

    The Blues rate Satpaev highly and see him as another player who could rise to the Brazilian’s level.

    Satpaev already has five senior caps for Kazakhstan and has scored 13 goals in 33 appearances for Kairat, which is a solid start for his age.

    Chelsea are said to be staying in regular contact with the teenager as they prepare him for the move to West London. He seems mature for his age, but it remains to be seen how he will handle the step up to Premier League football next year.

    It is hard to overlook the benefit of Kairat making it into the league phase of the Champions League, especially for Chelsea, because it is a great opportunity for Satpaev. He will now get the chance to play against some top clubs and show what he can do.

    Jeremy Doku, who plays for Manchester City and Belgium, had positive things to say about Satpaev after they faced each other on international duty.

    If Satpaev can put in a strong showing during this Champions League campaign, he might be ready for Chelsea earlier than expected. Estevao has already shown that age is not a barrier if you have the ability, fitting right into Enzo Maresca’s plans at Stamford Bridge.
