The former first daughter, Dr. Chelsea Clinton, is being mocked for taking aim at MAHA policies as a central theme in her upcoming health podcast.
Clinton’s new podcast ‘That Can’t Be True’ seeks to debunk policies being championed by the Department of Health and Human Services under the leadership of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
She plans to advocate for keeping fluoride in water and push back against limiting children from receiving vaccine shots at an early age.
‘How many of us have looked at the latest headlines and thought “that can’t be true?!” Starting tomorrow, I hope you will join me and a series of experts on my new podcast – That Can’t Be True!” Clinton wrote on X.
‘Together, we will sort fact from fiction – especially on issues impacting our health,” Chelsea Clinton wrote in a Wednesday post on the social platform X.’
Previously, Clinton was the host of the now-defunct podcast ‘In Fact with Chelsea Clinton’ which stopped making new episodes in April 2022.
However, users online from the right and left were not impressed with Clinton’s new podcasting endeavor.
‘Who in the hell is listening to a Chelsea Clinton podcast,’ wrote Johnny Akzam on X. ‘Why is she even talking about anything after all the harm her family has caused, including her mother promoting Trump in 2016 thinking her hated ass could beat him?’
A right-wing X poster referred to Clinton heir as ‘satan junior’ before asking, ‘Wonder how many meetings were had about putting Chelsea on a podcast to “debunk misinformation” with misinformation?’
‘LMAO. Chelsea Clinton is going to push toxins, death jabs and pesticides,’ X user Health Ranger wrote to his 300,000 followers. ‘Literally no one will be interested in her podcast except the people who work as merchants of death.’
The description attached to Clinton’s podcast reads, ‘Things are getting weird in the world of public health.’
‘Childhood vaccines are suddenly up for debate, fluoride is being described as industrial waste, and it feels like everyone is talking about raw milk!’
‘Navigate this chaotic time with public health expert Dr. Chelsea Clinton, who every week talks to doctors, dietitians, parenting experts and more to expose pseudoscience and help us sort fact from fiction.’
In the past, Kennedy has advocated for removing fluoride from public water and alleged that vaccines may lead to autism in young children.
Soon after being HHS secretary, Kennedy fired the entire Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). This panel was responsible for advising the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on the department’s policy.
Kennedy later filled the committee with political appointees who share his skepticism towards vaccines.
Clinton, who teaches health policy at Columbia University, is a frequent critic of Kennedy for his policy changes and firing inside HHS.
The Daily Mail reached out to the Department of Health and Human Services for comment.
