Many people visit Chase to attend to their banking needs.
However, there are certain bank holidays that occur throughout the year, such as Columbus Day, where banks are closed.
If you need to visit the bank on or around Columbus Day on Oct. 13, you’ll have to plan accordingly.
On the federal holiday, which is celebrated as Indigenous Peoples’ Day in some communities, most banks will be closed, with some exceptions.
Here’s what you need to know about Chase’s Columbus Day hours and whether or not Chase will be open on Monday, Oct. 13.
Is Chase closed on Oct. 13?
Chase will be closed on Oct. 13 due to the Columbus Day holiday.
So if you need to complete any in-person banking transactions, you might want to do them the Saturday before Columbus Day as Chase is closed every Sunday, as well.
However, if you just need to use an ATM or do some online banking, you can go to any Chase ATM or use your mobile banking app on the Columbus Day holiday.
Just keep in mind that your transactions on Columbus Day will probably not post until the next business day.
If all else fails and you need to do an in-person transaction on Columbus Day, consider going to TD Bank, which is one of the few banks open on the holiday.
