Charlotte Crosby has provided a major health update on her mum’s cancer battle, telling her fans that she’s her ‘best friend’. The former Geordie Shore star's mum Letitia has been diagnosed with cancer twice, previously beating breast cancer in 2022. Last month saw Letitia take to Instagram to inform her 130,000 followers that she discovered she had skin cancer hours before jetting off on holiday. “I had a bit of a shock, I went to the hospital about three hours before I was due to board a plane and found out I have skin cancer on my face... “It is not great and certainly not what I wanted to hear either, as I do actually wear factor 50. Obviously, I am gutted,” she said in a video. Sharing an image of her face, Letitia captioned the post: “So previous pic is a low grade skin cancer found out 4 hrs before I boarded a flight and to say rocked shocked me. I dont use sunbeds. I wear 50... “On face 30factor on body and I have not been anywhere lately apart from OZ which I feel is where this has started from! “Result maybe remove and skin graft as it quite a large area #gutted #sunscrean #protect I am gutted I really am.” In a new interview, Charlotte has revealed that her mum is now cancer-free and is the inspiration behind her clothing brand Pepper Girls Club. “I purely did it for my mum. My mum’s my best friend, so when she was made redundant, I wanted to be able to build something with my mum to keep her in a job and just to give her a bit of an easier life than having to go back into a full-time job,” she told The Sun . Charlotte added: “Throughout her breast cancer journey and her chemotherapy, she always came into work. “She always wanted to (be) involved in every launch that we did, and she was so excited." Revealing the good news that her mum is ‘cancer free’, Charlotte said that she’s once ‘full of life' and has a 'spark' in her. “Now my mum is cancer free and she’s literally loving her life in the warehouse, picking and packing,” she noted. After being diagnosed with breast cancer several years ago, Letitia underwent surgery before going through chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
