Charlie Kirk, a well-known conservative activist and supporter of US President Donald Trump, was shot dead during an event at Utah Valley University (UVU) in Orem, Utah, on Wednesday. The university said the incident occurred at around 12.25 pm local time in the campus quad, near the food court. The campus was closed for the rest of the day following the shooting. US President Donald Trump posted on social media in support of Charlie Kirk. “We must all pray for Charlie Kirk, who has been shot,” he wrote on Truth Social. “A great guy from top to bottom. GOD BLESS HIM!” he added. Later, Trump confirmed Kirk’s death. “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. Who Is Charlie Kirk’s Wife? Charlie Kirk is married to Erika Frantzve.
