Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, will visit Uzbekistan to participate in the III International Forum on Poverty Reduction, scheduled for 17–18 September 2025, in Namangan, and to hold high-level meetings with representatives of the Uzbek government.
The forum, convened under the patronage of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will bring together global leaders, representatives of multilateral development banks, and international organizations to discuss innovative approaches to accelerating poverty reduction.
During the event, Dr. Al Jasser will deliver a welcoming address and a keynote speech at the session “The Role of Islamic Finance in Poverty Reduction: New Opportunities and Solutions.”
In addition to attending the forum, the IsDB chairman will hold a series of high-level meetings and review the Bank’s key projects in strategically important sectors such as early childhood education and healthcare, reflecting the organization’s long-term commitment to human capital development and strengthening Uzbekistan’s national health systems.
