Mangaluru, 08 November 2025: Students from CFAL (Centre for Advanced Learning), Mangalore, have once again proven their mathematical prowess by qualifying for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) 2025, one of India’s most prestigious stages for budding mathematicians. This year, 10 CFAL students — including 7 from the PU Program and 3 from the Foundation Program have qualified for the next round of the Olympiad, demonstrating CFAL’s consistent success in nurturing analytical thinking and problem-solving skills from a young age. PU Section Qualifiers From CFAL’s PU integrated program, the following students have qualified for RMO 2025: Abhhi Sannayya (II PUC) Rishon Fernandes (II PUC) Lauren Marian Patrao (II PUC) Bhuvan Shetty (II PUC) N Lalith Shriyan (I PUC) O Kishora Krishna (I PUC) K N Shreya Reddy (I PUC) Their achievement highlights CFAL’s commitment to providing rigorous STEM coaching integrated with the PU curriculum, enabling students to prepare for JEE, NEET, Olympiads, and other national-level exams simultaneously. Foundation Section Qualifiers From the Foundation division, which trains students from Grades 8–10 in higher-order problem-solving, the following students advanced from IOQM to RMO: Chirag Adiga (Grade 10) Pradhyun Shetty (Grade 10) Aarna Sudhindra (Grade 10) Their success demonstrates how CFAL’s early foundation programs build the analytical and logical thinking skills necessary for success in various STEM competitions & scholarship/entrance exams. About IOQM & RMO The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) is the first stage of India’s Olympiad program conducted by the Mathematical Teachers’ Association (MTA) of India in coordination with the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE).Top performers from IOQM advance to the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO), followed by the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) and international representation at the IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad). CFAL’s Legacy in STEM Olympiads Over the past 16 years, CFAL has built a strong reputation for producing some of the best Olympiad, JEE, and NEET results in Karnataka. CFAL students have consistently represented India at the International Olympiads, secured top 1% ranks in national exams, and gained admission to IISc, IITs, IISERs, and global universities such as ETH Zurich and UC Berkeley.
