MIC Central FC Reboot kicked off their 2025–2026 Trinidad and Tobago Premier Football League (TTPFL) campaign with a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Point Fortin Civic on Sunday, at the Arima Velodrome. Midfielder Daniel David opened the scoring for Central in the 28th minute, giving his side an early advantage at half-time. The second half burst into life in the 55th minute when Junior Asson doubled Central’s lead moments before veteran midfielder Nathaniel “Spanish” Garcia immediately pulled one back for Point Fortin. But Central held firm to secure all three points. Earlier at the same venue, Club Sando edged FC Eagles 1–0 thanks to a 47th-minute strike from Marc Wharfe. Other round one results saw victories for Prisons FC and Miscellaneous Police FC, while champions Defence Force Elite were held to a goalless draw by 2024 champions AC PoS. The season kicked off last Friday night at Dwight Yorke Stadium in Tobago, where Miscellaneous Police FC produced the standout result of the weekend, thrashing San Juan Jabloteh 4–0. Kwesi Allen struck twice (4’ & 35’) with Mickaeel Jem Gordon (43’) and Joevin Jones (69’) completing the rout.
