Central Pennsylvania voters headed to the polls Tuesday to decide who will help shape the future of their local schools, races that have drawn growing public interest and, in some districts, record campaign spending in recent years. From Cumberland Valley and West Shore to Palmyra and Elizabethtown, the results will shape how districts handle key issues such as school budgets, curriculum debates, culture war issues and community engagement. Ballots in Cumberland, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, Juniata and Dauphin counties included a mix of contested and uncontested races, reflecting both growing political interest in education policy and uneven participation across the region. Below are the results for school board contests in Cumberland Valley, West Shore, East Pennsboro, Mechanicsburg, South Middleton, Halifax, Elizabethtown, Annville-Cleona, Cornwall-Lebanon, Palmyra, Greenwood, and Big Spring school districts.
