A Isle of Man-based eGaming company has applied to be dissolved, just months after surrendering its licence and receiving a £3.9million civil penalty. Celton Manx Limited was found to have committed multiple contraventions of the Gambling (Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism) Code. The company, a provider of online gambling products, is headquartered at Celton House in the Isle of Man Business Park. Founded in 2008, it was the first to be granted a licence by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission to operate a live dealer online casino. It surrendered its licence in May this year and submitted an Application For Declaration Of Dissolution on 22 October. Chief Executive Officer Bill Mummery - who is also a trustee of Manx Radio - confirmed that the company had taken these steps via the IOM Government Companies Registry subsequent to the surrender of its Licence to the IOM Gambling Supervision Commission.
