Celtic Park Stadium will once again open its doors this Christmas Day to give Glasgow's most vulnerable a proper festive celebration. Returning for its third year in a row, the Christmas Paradise Pit Stop event run by Celtic FC Foundation will see the stadium welcome over 350 struggling people and families from across the community. Guests will be able to enjoy a traditional Christmas meal, as well as entertainment, gifts and access to support services to help spread joy in what can be a difficult time for lots of us. The initiative began back in 2023, and it has now become an annual tradition, offering a safe community space for those who would've otherwise faced the Christmas period alone. Paradise Pit Stop runs events for the vulnerable throughout the year, offering meals at Celtic Park every Monday to Thursday from 5pm to 7pm. Celtic FC Foundation said: "Paradise Pit Stop is open to those who may be struggling financially or spending Christmas alone – if that’s you or someone close to you, we’d love to welcome you, however, places are limited, so we kindly ask that only those who genuinely need support and intend to attend register for the event." If you or your family are struggling, you can register interest for the Christmas Paradise Pit Stop event through the Celtic FC Foundation website. Or, those offering some festive generosity can donate to the foundation online.
