Celebrity Traitors star Jonathan Ross says 'it was horrible' as he reveals Alan Carr moment that didn't air

Celebrity Traitors star Jonathan Ross has said that it was ‘it was horrible’ as he revealed an Alan Carr moment that didn't air on the BBC series. TV presenters Jonathan and Alan were two of three traitors in the Scottish Highlands, with singer Cat Burns joining them in the turret. Jonathan was seemingly the leader of the pack, getting the most traction from the faithfuls for his team’s treacherous ways. Sadly, the ITV presenter was eliminated in one of the final roundtables of the series, when Joe Marler told those around him that if he wasn’t right about Jonathan they could vote him out. On Thursday night (November 6), viewers saw Alan and Cat looking to deceive the faithfuls one final time in the show’s finale. In the end, Alan was able to pull off a shock victory as he won £87,500 prize for children's cancer charity Neuroblastoma UK. Friday morning (November 7) saw Jonathan appearing on ITV current affairs programme Good Morning Britain , where he spoke to Adil Ray and fellow Celebrity Traitors star Kate Garraway. “I did feel it was much harder than I expected, and I did struggle with that,” Jonathan said of his time on the programme. Jonathan went on to reveal that one moment where he, Alan and Cat were struggling with the pressure of the series wasn’t aired. He explained: “Cat not so much, she said it was a game, she found it easy to put into perspective, even though often we'd be driving home much later at night than you guys, we'd be driving in the car with head in our hands going ‘oh God’. “And Alan and I were very aware that it was taking its toll. But having said that, what a lovely opportunity, what an incredible thing to be a part of.” With Good Morning Britain’s entertainment editor Richard pointing out it was ‘quite the pressure cooker’, Jonathan stated it was ‘horrible at times’. “As a traitor you're speaking to really nice people who you wanted to support in the show, and make sure they had a good time as well. “Then you would suspect, or be fairly certain they knew it was you. Whenever I do a show I always go in and say ‘I'll give as much as I can, try and help the show be as good as it can be’. I always turn up to work. "Then you have to try and engineer ways to get them out and you see them standing there being banished,” he noted. Jonathan added: “You've been successful and then you see they're upset and to see someone upset, you've played a part in it. “It's a horrible feeling, even though it's essential to the game.”
