The People Pleaser hitmaker, 25, took to social media and explained it was a difficult decision, but one she needs to make to ensure she’s ‘taking care of my wellbeing’. The tour was due to kick off on November 10 at Glasgow’s O2 Academy, before moving to Manchester, Brighton, Wolverhampton, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Bristol and ending at Brixton’s O2 Academy on November 30. ‘This album and tour mean the world to me,’ Cat, who is currently smashing it as a Traitor on the BBC show, began in a social media announcement. ‘It’s been a massive journey getting ready to share How To Be Human with you. I can’t believe it’s nearly here!! But unfortunately the build-up has been a lot more intense than any of us expected, so myself and my team have made the difficult decision to move the How To Be Human Tour to April 2026,’ she continued. ‘Touring is incredibly demanding mentally and physically, and I want to make sure I’m taking care of my wellbeing so I’m in the right headspace to give you the show you deserve. After confirming he record store shows are ‘going ahead’ as planned, Cat said: ‘Thank you for your patience, kindness, and understanding through this! These decisions are never easy and I don’t take your support for granted! I can’t wait to see you soon and make these shows everything they should be.’ Cat Burns How To Be Human Tour new dates Cat is still performing a number of record store shows in Liverpool, Leeds, Kingston, Brighton, London, Haggerston, and Manchester throughout November. However, her actual UK tour dates in November have been postponed to the following April 2026 dates: April 10 – Birmingham, TBA April 11 – Newcastle, NX Newcastle April 12 – Glasgow, O2 Academy April 14 – Brighton, Brighton Dome April 15 – Bristol, O2 Academy April 17 – Bournemouth, O2 Academy April 18 – Manchester, O2 Apollo April 19 – London, O2 Academy Brixton Tickets here. Cat’s most famous song is People Pleaser (Picture: Gus Stewart/Redferns) Appearing on The One Show later this evening, Cat – who will be performing on the Strictly Come Dancing Halloween special this weekend – explained that her autism and ADHD is behind the postponement. ‘It’s really important to me that my mental is okay, because this job is really forward facing and having to meet lots of people, and it’s very intense. ‘With everything going on I wanted to make sure I put my all into the tour and give myself enough time to recharge and reset.’ Cat turned on Jonathan in the latest round table (Picture: BBC) Cat and Alan have been rejoicing in their Traitor roles since leaving the Scottish castle (Picture: Alan Carr/Instagram) The Mercury Prize-nominated artist currently appears as a contestant on the celebrity version of The Traitors, a BBC One show that sees a group of traitors, of which Burns is one, meet up in private to ‘murder’ the faithfuls, with the aim of trying to win a charity prize pot. The singer famously explained to a suspicious Faithful Stephen Fry on the BBC show that the reason she sleeps during the day isn’t because she’s been out murdering fellow celebrities in the night, but because she’s neurodivergent. Aside from a few glances in her direction, Cat is doing a brilliant job at slipping under the radar, and has managed to evade capture alongside comedian Alan Carr. https://www.instagram.com/p/DNnw6ubs4Iu/ In last night’s episode, Alan and Cat turned on their fellow Traitor Jonathan Ross, as suspicion on him was too great from the other faithfuls. Tonight, Cat and Alan must ‘murder’ a Faithful – either Celia Imrie, Joe Marler, Kate Garraway, David Olusoga and Nick Mohammed – in plain sight, by uttering the line, ‘Parting is such a sweet sorrow,’ followed by the name of the doomed faithful.
