Celebrity Traitors Jonathan Ross 'told off' by BBC bosses over 'rule break'

Tensions are at an all-time high on Celebrity Traitors as BBC fans watch the Faithfuls grow more frustrated over not being able to catch a Traitor. Last week, viewers saw a first on the programme as the group were unable to come to a unanimous decision at the roundtable. This resulted in Mark Bonnar and David Olusog's future on the show being decided by fate, which resulted in the Line of Duty star being sent home. Recently, the actor confessed that watching the brutal banishment still stings. However, one star on the show has been in trouble with bosses on the show for sharing some behind-the-scenes antics with followers. During Tuesday's instalment of Lorraine, host Christine Lampard commented: "The producers have had to tell off some of the celebrities, they haven't been behaving, have they?" Entertainment reporter Tyler West revealed that Jonathan Ross has been issued a reminder by bosses about what they can and can't say. ITV viewers then heard a snippet of Jonathan's podcast with his daughter, Honey, who explained the situation. He said, "It's nerve-wracking watching it, for me. The roundtables, of course, because a lot of stuff is edited out, and I'm not allowed, I didn't realise, but I'm not allowed to talk about the stuff that's edited out. "I can understand why. When I started talking about it last week, they sent us all this, kindly saying, 'Just to remind you all these are the things in your contracts that you're not allowed to talk about'. "So, I'll skirt around it as much as possible and not break any rules, but there's a fairly comprehensive list. Most of it is to protect the integrity of the game as a viewing experience for people, so it makes perfect sense. Currently on the show, the Traitors are Alan Carr, Cat Burns, and Jonathan Ross. However, they've so far managed to avoid suspicions with Faithfuls being banished at each roundtable. On Wednesday night, either Kate Garraway, Nick Mohammed, or Lucy Beaumont will become the next person to be murdered by the Traitors. Although this comes as an unexpected twist, they'll be meeting them face-to-face to receive the news. Celebrity Traitors is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
