Celebrity Traitors star Cat Burns has been forced to delay her forthcoming UK tour due to mental health issues following an "intense period" in the run-up to the scheduled performances. The vocalist, who has emerged as a beloved figure on the BBC hit reality show, revealed she had no choice but to postpone the dates, acknowledging it was a tough call to make. Speaking on social media, she expressed that the "album and tour mean the world to me" but acknowledged that touring places enormous strain "incredibly demanding mentally and physically", forcing her to prioritise her "wellbeing". Via her Instagram Stories, she posted: "Hi! This album and tour mean the world to me. It's been a massive journey getting ready to share How To Be Human with you. "I can't believe it's nearly here! ! But unfortunately, the build-up has been a lot more intense than any of us expected so, myself and my team have made the difficult decision to move the How To Be Human Tour to April 2026. "Touring is incredibly demanding mentally and physically, and I want to make sure I'm taking care of my wellbeing so I'm in the right headspace to give you the show you deserve. When I step on stage, I really want to fell my best and give you a night that feels worth every moment of waiting." She confirmed that all tickets for the rearranged shows would remain valid for the new April dates, with the exception of Wolverhampton, which they were unable to reschedule. Refunds for those tickets will be made available, reports the Mirror . Nevertheless, not all performances have been delayed, as Cat revealed that the intimate record shop gigs would still be taking place. She concluded her statement by expressing gratitude to her supporters for their understanding. "Thank you for your patience, kindness and understanding through this!" she said. "These decisions are never easy and I don't take your support for granted!". During her appearance on The One Show, she explained that it had been an "intense period" in the run-up to the performances and she needed to delay them for her mental wellbeing. Cat has been candid about living with both autism and ADHD, conditions which can make social interactions challenging for her. She has discussed this openly on The Celebrity Traitors.
