Celebrity Traitors viewers praised Cat Burns as she went against her fellow Traitor at the roundtable. Earlier this month, the 19 famous faces arrived at Ardross Castle in Alness, north of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands, thus marking the beginning of the UK's first Celebrity Traitors. The first chosen victim was Paloma Faith as the other famous faces watched her coffin lid close in real time. On Wednesday (October 29), viewers were finally shown which Faithful was next to be murdered by the Traitors after losing the most recent mission. The Traitors had their shortlist of potential victims when actor Nick Mohammed, comedian Lucy Beaumont and broadcaster Kate Garraway were invited to meet host Claudia Winkleman at a giant chessboard in the dead of night. Lucy was selected by the traitors, Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns as the next to be murdered. Seeing the green-cloaked killers for the first time, Lucy said: "Oh, I hope you feel terrible about yourselves." She later added: "I’ve totally let my emotions cloud things and not wanting to believe that because I’ve built up a friendship with somebody that they’re not capable of doing it. "There was an element of like real shock and feeling quite betrayed, and also like a relief." After the mission, Claudia Winkleman revealed that they had raised £53,500 for the charities so far. It was time for the roundtable, and viewers were shocked as Cat through her fellow Traitor, Jonathan under the bus, and made the link to his "double bluff" kill of Ruth Codd. On X (formerly known as Twitter ), @johnkingderry1 wrote: "Wow Cat! I like your courage, throwing JR under the bus"/ @h4rry_brdig3 added: "End the show. Give Cat the money. Hang her in the hall of fame with Minah. She's won." Another viewer @__haleemaa penned: "Alan and Cat turning on Jonathon is exactly what I wanted to see".
