To celebrate finally catching Traitor Jonathan Ross, host Claudia Winkleman threw them a dinner party in the castle but there was a twist. Traitor Alan Carr was forced to murder in plain sight during the festivities and after surveying the remaining faithfuls - Kate Garraway, David Osuluga, Joe Marler, Nick Mohammad, and Celia Imrie - he made his move. The comedian, 49, made a speech to his fellow players reminiscing about his time in the castle, particularly his friendship with Stephen Fry. He said: 'Stephen, he's just got that brain, and it's just the quotes and everything he'd say. And, what did he say to me before he went to bed? Parting is such sweet sorrow, Celia.' The deadly phrase sealed the Calendar Girls star fate as she became the final contestant to be murdered. Realising her fate, Celia said: 'Oh, Lord, this is not a very good sign. Am I dead?' The letter read: 'Dear Celia, by order of the traitors, you have been murdered yesterday, the traitors murdered you in plain sight.' The actress hit back: 'Oh, honestly, just because I was brave enough to get the one traitor out, what a mean one. I love being here. 'It's been gorgeous, and I'm devastated. I so wanted to stay till the end, but it's a game.' The news of her murder did not go down well among her friends, with former rugby player Joe Marler particularly angry about the dastardly act. An emotional Joe fumed: 'I miss her already. My darling Celia is gone. My heart is broken.' 'It's just made me want to get the traitors even harder. But I'm sick of this. They are taking out some lovely, lovely people. The news of her murder did not go down well among her friends, with former rugby player Joe Marler particularly angry about the dastardly act It was revealed at the end of Wednesday's episode that Alan and Cat would have to murder in plain sight as the pair each received a letter explaining there would be no usual turret meeting Cat suggested that Alan pretended to be quoting the recently banished Stephen Fry as he issued the killing statement 'I'm not having it anymore. I need to get the traitors gone, gone, gone.' Fans were equally as devastated about Celia's death as they took to Twitter to share their anger. After the faithfuls finally caught their first traitor and banished Jonathan Ross during Wednesday's episode, viewers saw Alan and Cat plotting how to commit their murder in plain sight. Instead of meeting in the turret, remaining traitors Alan and Cat both received individual letters. They read: 'Traitors, tonight there will be no secret meeting in the turret. Instead you must murder in plain sight at tonight's dinner. 'To do this one Traitor must toast the player you want to murder while saying the words "Parting is such sweet sorrow" followed by their name. You must do this before the night is over.' 'I can't see you saying it?' said Alan to Cat as they snuck away to the kitchen. Cat then suggested that Alan pretends to be quoting the recently banished Stephen Fry as he issues the killing statement. Speaking to the camera Alan joked: 'I have to do all the dirty work for these traitors. I'm surprised they don't have me up in that turret with a hoover doing some light dusting.'
