Celebrity Race Across the World 2025 line up, full route and when it starts

The hugely popular BBC programme that sees famous faces racing one another across continents is making its comeback with a brand new line-up of celebrities ready to take on the gruelling challenge. Celebrity Race Across the World is the celebrity spin-off from the original Race Across the World format, featuring well-known personalities alongside their nearest and dearest as they compete in the ultimate travel competition. BBC Radio 2's Scott Mills and his Welsh husband Sam emerged victorious in the inaugural celebrity series. The 2025 celebrity instalment follows closely after the original version, where mother and son pairing Caroline and Tom Bridge claimed the £20,000 jackpot following their epic journey covering roughly 8,700 miles from the Great Wall of China to the finishing line in Kanniyakumari, southern India, reports Wales Online . So who are the famous contestants this time, when will it air and what's the planned route? This series will see the following contestants trading in their comfortable lifestyles for rucksacks: Speaking about her decision to sign up, Anita explained: "I want my dad to have an adventure, and I want to have it with him. So that's it. What a great, amazing way to spend some quality time with my dad and have a life changing experience." Dylan shared that his motivation for participating was because "it's such an amazing experience to be had". He continued: "I think it looks so beautiful and cool, and it's just a giant adventure and who wouldn't want to go on one of those? And to do it with my mum is a huge bonus. It's a once in a lifetime thing to do, and to do it with a loved one is even better." Newly-engaged Tyler said of joining the show with Molly: "It feels like we've been together years and years but to do something like this would take our relationship to the next level and bring us closer together." Roman said of teaming up with his sister: " I am very lucky that I do a lot of stuff with my dad, and I think that the reason I do those things is I can't wait to show my kids or my grandkids what my relationship was like with my dad. With this, it's such a privilege to be able to do something so special with your sister." Fans won't have to wait long to catch the latest series of Celebrity Race Across the World as it's launching very soon. The programme will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer , with the opening episode broadcasting on BBC One on Thursday, November 6 at 8pm, just before Celebrity Traitors wraps up. This series features one of the most spectacular and varied routes to date, traversing the lesser-known Caribbean and Pacific coastline of Central America. The adventure kicks off on the picturesque Caribbean island of Isla Mujeres, located off Mexico's easternmost tip, and sets teams the challenge of covering 5,900km to cross the finish line at the isolated and stunning Península de La Guajira in Colombia – the entrance to South America.
