The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the School Academic Performance Report Card for all CBSE-affiliated schools for the academic session 2024–25. This initiative is part of the Board’s ongoing effort to promote data-driven reflection and evidence-based academic planning in schools, it stated in an official notice. Heads of Institutions can access their respective School Academic Performance Report Cards through the CBSE School Login Portal using their credentials. The School Academic Performance Report Card which provides a comprehensive analysis of the school’s performance in Classes 10 and 12 Board Examinations includes: Comparative Performance Insights: The report compares the school’s academic results with state-level and overall CBSE Board School averages across subjects. This aims to helps schools pinpoint strengths and areas for improvement. Additionally, it highlights performance trends between male and female students, allowing schools to take informed steps towards achieving gender equity in learning outcomes, the board stated. Holistic Performance Indicators: School-level participation and achievements in sports and games, benchmarked against performance at the cluster and zonal levels has also been included in the report card. Through this initiative, CBSE aims to provide schools with actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and enhance student learning outcomes. “Through this initiative, CBSE aims to empower schools with actionable insights to foster continuous improvement and enhance student learning outcomes. Schools are encouraged to review their report cards carefully, identify focus areas, and integrate the findings into their School Annual Pedagogical Plans,” reads the official notice. CBSE has also published a sample report card. As per the board, the overall average performance of a school is calculated by dividing the total marks in all subjects by the total number of subject instances taken by a student. It has also issued the report card of the gender-wise and subject-wise marks as well distribution of participants by sports.
