The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for Paper I and Paper II. As per the official notice, CTET 2025 will take place on February 8, 2026 (Sunday) in twenty languages across 132 cities nationwide. The detailed Information Bulletin, which includes examination details, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities, and important dates, will soon be available on the CTET official website, ctet.nic.in. “The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in shortly and aspiring candidates are requested to download Information Bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying. The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET website https://ctet.nic.in,” reads the official notice. CTET 2025 Paper I will be conducted for the recruitment of school teachers for classes 1 to 5, while Paper II will be for the appointment of teachers for classes 6 to 8. The registration process is expected to begin soon. How To Apply For CTET 2025? Once the application link is active, candidates can follow these steps to complete the CTET application form: Step 1 – Visit the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in. Step 2 – Click on the “Apply Online” link for CTET 2025. Step 3 – Carefully fill in your personal and educational details in the online form. Step 4 – Upload a recent scanned photograph and signature in the required format. Step 5 – Pay the CTET application fee using the available online payment options. Step 6 – Submit the application form and download a copy for future reference. The CTET 2025 exam will be held in offline mode (pen and paper-based) with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates should note that qualifying for CTET does not guarantee a job but makes them eligible to apply for teaching positions in various schools across the country.
