The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the class 10 and 12 board examinations, the examination for sports students, the second examination for class 10, and the class 12 supplementary examination between February 17 and July 15. The board on September 24 has released a tentative schedule on the official website, cbse.gov.in. Students, parents and teachers should note that the date sheet released is tentative in nature. Final date sheet will be released later by the board upon submission of the final list of candidates by the schools. This year, the board has released the schedule ahead of its usual timeline to ensure that students can prepare structured study plans to enhance their performance. The board has also issued a general guideline that the evaluation of answer sheets will begin just 10 days after the conduct of each examination and must be completed within 12 days. The notice reads, “Alongside the conduct of examinations, several other activities, such as practical evaluation and post-result processes will be undertaken to ensure timely declaration of results.” The second examination for class 10 will be conducted between May 15 and June 1.
