On October 15, 2025, Catherine Anne Muncey (Mauve’s mom) passed away after a long illness at her home in Huntington Beach, California, at the age of 83. Cathy was born in 1942 in Darby, Pennsylvania, where she was raised and lived until the age of 19. Cathy married Harry Albert Muncey, her husband of 63 years, on June 23, 1962, and moved into their family home in Huntington Beach, California, in 1972. Cathy was a devoted mother to her two children, Michael Muncey and JoAnne Shebesta, and was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother to her four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was involved in the printing business for over 25 years. Cathy’s memory will be cherished by family and friends always. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Saints Simon & Jude Catholic Church in Huntington Beach.
