Cat Deeley takes it all in her stride just weeks after announcing separation

It’s been a tough year for Cat Deeley, who recently announced her split from Late Late Show presenter Patrick Kielty after 13 years together.

But it seems the single life suits her, as she looked radiant while attending celebrations for ITV’s 70th anniversary on Monday.

Following her separation from husband Kielty, This Morning host Cat was dressed elegantly in a long-sleeved bright orangedress, boasting a big smile as she arrived among other stars.

Mother of two, Cat, 48, was spotted with co-presenter Ben Shephard, 50, who looked dapper in a navy suit. ITV’s birthday bash took place at the historic Guildhall in London, the location of the station’s first broadcast back in Hosted by Joel Dommett, the evening honoured seven decades of ground-breaking television moments.

Stars from across some of the channel’s biggest programmes over the years – from current affairs to drama and soaps – were in attendance, including Graham Norton, Lorraine Kelly and Piers Morgan.

The presenter, 48, and the Irish comedian, 54, revealed in July that their 12-year relationship had come to an end. The couple, who share two sons, Milo, nine, and James, seven, made clear in their statement that ‘no other party’ was involved.

Cat, who returned to the air following the split news, was said to be nervous after weeks of online trolling and whispers from her former in-laws.

Much of the upset has centred around an incident earlier this year. When Patrick’s mother, Mary, died in March, Cat chose to remain in London rather than travel to Northern Ireland for the funeral.
