Cardi B Responds to Young Thug After Changing LP Release Date for Her

There’s room for everyone in rap! Cardi B seemed to send her gratitude Young Thug‘s way after he suggested on social media that he changed the release date for his album, UY Scuti, so that it wouldn’t arrive the same day as her LP, Am I the Drama?
“Yall know I wasn’t dropping Friday. It’s a ladies [sic] day do yo shit @iamcardib,” Thug wrote on X Wednesday night. Shortly after, Cardi quote-tweeted her fellow rapper, writing “And you better step next week …you got this, You know this !!”
Young Thug had originally announced that he’d drop UY Scuti this Friday at the end of his “Miss My Dogs” video, which was released last week. He’s since updated fans by sharing that another song is rolling out “next Friday,” on Sept. 26. The album title is a reference to a red supergiant star 10,000 light-years away from Earth. The album will feature both “Miss My Dogs” and “Money on Money,” his collab with Future, out back in March.
Uy Scuti will mark Young Thug’s first new album since 2023’s Business Is Business, which came out amid the RICO case and while Young Thug was in jail.
