Egg Harbor Township on Friday will consider extending the grace period for payment of the current round of property taxes for those affected by the ongoing federal government shutdown. Premiums for health insurance plans purchased through the New Jersey marketplace will rise 174% next year because of the expiration of enhanced federal subsidies, according to the state Department of Banking and Insurance.
