A call for help has been issued as popular TV show DIY SOS comes to a Gwynedd Town. The team are looking for tradesman and volunteers to chip in when Nick Knowles and the team help a local family. A DIY SOS statement said: "DIY SOS is coming to Llanberis! From Thursday 4th - Wednesday 10th December 2025 (Reveal on Thursday 11th), Nick and the team will be helping a local family in need of our assistance and we need YOUR help to get it done! "Whether you’re a trade, supplier or a general volunteer, we need you! Please get in touch with us at: DIYSOSLlanberis@southshore.uk." The TV show added: "Your generosity will help transform the lives for a local family by completely renovating their current space into a usable, fit-for- purpose home. "We offer a unique on-site experience, full catering, and the joy of volunteering with your community. Come and join Nick and the team on-site, for as many days as you can possibly help with." DIY SOS is a long-running British factual entertainment TV series on the BBC in which presenter Nick Knowles and his team of builders, designers, and local volunteers transform the homes and lives of families across Britain facing extraordinary challenges.
