Concerned, Muskan asked for a video call.“When he called, Nikita was lying unconscious on the floor. I pleaded with Parth to take her to the hospital immediately, but he misled me,” she alleged. The next morning, Nikita’s family learned about her death after her mother, Sunita, contacted Parth’s aunt.Muskan said that Parth had earlier run a business in Lucknow, which eventually failed, prompting the couple to move to Kanpur. They had returned to Lucknow for the Diwali celebrations.Sunita has accused the in-laws of murdering Nikita and also accused senior BJP leader Satish Mahana of shielding Parth's family due to which there was no police action in the matter.Nikita's family have also accused Parth of substance abuse and ongoing domestic disputes.Based on the family's complaint, a dowry murder case has been registered against husband Parth and the in-laws.- Ends(Inputs by Ankit Mishra)Published By: Karishma Saurabh KalitaPublished On: Oct 21, 2025Must Watch
