Bullseye viewers flood ITV show with same complaint over 'migraine inducing' issue

Fan favourite TV show Bullseye returned to our screens this weekend with new host Freddie Flintoff at the helm - but viewers were distracted from the action by the audience's behaviour. Bullseye aired from 1982 until 1995 and was previously hosted by the late Jim Bowen. After a trial show last Christmas , the iconic darts quiz programme returned for a full season on ITV on Sunday - but viewers weren't happy as they flooded the show's X account with the same complaint. Those watching at home were majorly distracted by the amount of clapping from the audience as it distracted them from the action. They're just clapping at everything. #Bullseye." @Survivinthe20s echoed: "That is migraine inducing, that clapping," adding: "I can't deal with all this over over volume clapping, i'm gonna turn over., its doing my head in....." @d_mateer joked: "The audience are in the lead with 1200 claps," while @Anthony08876880 commented: "ITV get the hint we don’t need clapping before and after every single question." @OliReading added: "#Bullseye TV needs a clap filter!" The rebooted show was revealed to be ITV's most-watched programme during the week it aired over Christmas, putting pressure on the channel to deliver a full series following the positive response from viewers. Over 3.3 million tuned in to see Freddie take on the presenting role once held by the late Jim Bowen, with both critics and viewers praising the Ashes hero. One viewer commented on X, formerly Twitter, that: "This already deserves a new series commissioned. They haven't messed with the original format whatsoever and it shows. Flint One viewer enthused: "Loved the Bullseye reboot. Freddie Flintoff is a great presenter and as handsome as ever. Some fans even dubbed it "The Luke Littler Show" due to the teenage darts prodigy's standout performance on the programme, where he scored a perfect 180 with his first three throws. The holiday special was a hit, topping ITV's ratings over the weekend and outperforming long-standing shows like The Chase and The 1% Club.
