BTS Leader RM Calls For 'No Borders, No Limitations', Delivers Strong Message

BTS leader RM delivered a powerful speech recently in South Korea, addressing a business event held on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) annual summit. “I am just an artist. I am not a business leader, so today, I want to speak to you as a creator and an artist,” RM said, as quoted by Reuters. The 31-year-old rapper called for no borders, no limitations for artists and shared that this is a way to promote cultural solidarity. “When cultural barriers come down and different voices harmonise together, there’s an explosion of creative energy,” he said. “This is why K-Pop is loved everywhere,” RM stated and explained that even BTS has millions of loyal followers around the world, who are “crossing borders and breaking down barriers through the pure power of cultural solidarity”. “K-Pop’s shiny success is proof that cultural diversity and creativity are the greatest human potential. Of course, no borders, no limitations,” he said. RM Completes His Mandatory Military Service All members of the BTS have been discharged from their mandatory military service. RM walked out of his military discharge on June 10. His fellow BTS member, V, also accompanied him. The two globally popular singers stepped out in uniform at the Sports Park in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, as fans from across the world cheered and welcomed them. While RM was seen playing a saxophone, V was seen holding bouquets of flowers. They were all smiles as they posed for the cameras and marked their comeback. BTS Planning A Mega Comeback Since all the members of BTS have now completed their military service, they are now planning a mega comeback. The band is currently spending two months in Los Angeles, collaborating with some of the top producers and composers in the global music industry. Their upcoming album marks a monumental return for RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, who have each focused on solo projects over the past few years. Following the pandemic-related cancellation of their Map of the Soul tour and the limited Permission to Dance tour, BTS is reportedly eyeing a massive global schedule. Sources claim the group will perform in 65 cities worldwide, with more than 30 concerts planned in North America alone. Reportedly, BTS is also likely to come to India, but there is no official confirmation to this as of now.
