BTS’ Jungkook Shows Up For Cha Eun Woo At The First Ride Premiere

Jungkook is proving once again why he is the best friend we all need. The BTS star, who has been keeping a low profile ever since his discharge from the military in June this year, made a rare public appearance at an event on Monday, October 27. He was present at the VIP premiere of the upcoming film The First Ride in Seoul to cheer for his best friend, ASTRO member and actor Cha Eun Woo, who could not attend the event due to his ongoing military service. The K-pop idol’s arrival at the event immediately captured attention, and fans of both stars were delighted by his gesture. The highlight, however, was not solely Jungkook’s appearance, but also a life-size doll of Cha Eun Woo that the BTS member was carrying. In the pictures from the event, the Seven singer was seen patting the doll, making it bow and wave, and even saluting with him. A moment that sparked a wave of laughter among the attendees was when Jungkook lifted Cha Eun Woo’s doll in bridal style on the stage. ? Plus, he’s my friend Dongmin (Cha Eun Woo is part of the project), and I wanted to check out his acting,” he said. The golden maknae of BTS continued, “He told me that while filming the movie, he thought a lot about the times when we were younger, when we were in our early twenties, we often hung out and played together. He tried to bring that vibe into the portrayal. I’ll enjoy the movie with that feeling in my mind.” Jungkook Wishes Cha Eun Woo Well For His Military Service Furthermore, Jungkook also wished well to his friend, who is currently in the military, saying, “I wish you always take care of your health. I hope you can serve well and be discharged safely after your military service. Fighting!” Besides Jungkook, his BTS bandmates Kim Namjoon, aka RM, Jung Hoseok, aka J-hope, and SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu also attended the premiere of The First Ride, directed by Nam Dae Joong. The movie, releasing in theatres on October 29, tells the story of a group of friends whose dream trip quickly turns into a series of funny, chaotic, and action-packed moments.
