Brookfield Gears Up for 3rd Annual Safety Saturday with First Responders and Emergency Vehicles on Display

The City of Brookfield is gearing up for a day of safety demonstrations and community connections with its 3rd Annual Safety next Saturday, promising an informative and interactive experience for all ages. Hosted by the City of Brookfield Fire, Police, and Highway Departments, the event is set to take place at the local Farmer’s Market from 8:30 to 11:30 am, complete with emergency vehicles on display and a wealth of safety information readily available.

Families in the Brookfield area now have a prime opportunity to meet their local first responders, and it’s happening next Saturday; children can explore fire trucks, police cars, and other highway department vehicles while adults can gather life-saving fire and life safety information, the essential services converging in a space that is part municipal showcase, part educational fair. As reported by the City of Brookfield WI Fire Department via Facebook, the department is enthusiastically “waiting to see you all there!” in a bid to strengthen community ties and heighten safety awareness.

The event’s location at Brookfield Central HS parking lot, 16900 W Gebhardt Rd, is no stranger to community gatherings, providing a spacious environment for the City of Brookfield Farmers’ Market and other civic events, ensuring that Safety Saturday attendees will have ample space to partake in the festivities and educational sessions. Moreover, the City of Brookfield emphasizes that this initiative is a free event, making it accessible for all residents aiming to gain insights into the workings of their city’s emergency mechanisms and precautionary measures.

The City of Brookfield WI Fire Department along with their counterparts in police and highways departments are investing in these community-centric activities to ensure that every resident, from the youngest to the oldest, can carry a morsel of wisdom that could one day tip the balance in favor of survival and resilience.
