The Food Network duo will be spending their first holiday season together as a couple, and Williamson shared some insight into their plans exclusively with Parade. “This year I’ll probably be in New York, that is the plan at the moment,” Williamson told Parade while chatting about her holiday partnership with Modern Recipe by Sodexo. “[I’m excited to] bring my son [Hudson Roberts] with me to the East Coast for a little bit of cold fall Thanksgiving weather that we don’t get [in Southern California].” Related: These Bobby Flay Hacks Can Salvage Any Thanksgiving Dinner Emergency On his own Instagram, Flay shared on Nov. 11 that he was looking forward to sharing his “favorite day of the year” with his girlfriend, whom he’s been publicly dating since April 2025. “[Now] I don’t have to do ALL the cooking,” he teased. So, what happens when two chefs team up to prepare Thanksgiving dinner together? Williamson said there’s no need to play rock, paper, scissors to decide who cooks what. “Generally, if one of us is passionate about making something, we make it,” she told Parade. “There’s no point in fighting over holiday dishes… There’s generally enough mouths to feed to be able to do all the things you want to do.” So if they want to make two versions of the same dish, they will! That is kind of a tradition of mine,” she shared. “If I don’t have the opportunity to be at home smoking turkey legs on Thanksgiving, I move that to Christmas.” Whether she’s in SoCal where she lives and runs Playa Provisions, in Texas filming BBQ Brawl, or in New York spending time with Flay, Williamson knows how to rally a little holiday spirit and keep traditions alive. 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 “I love the tradition of Thanksgiving, but I’m never necessarily in the same place every year,” she shared. “So I kind of create Thanksgiving in the place where I am that year or that moment… I try to offer love and warmth and home wherever I am.” That means it’s an open invite to anyone who needs a place to go, so don’t be surprised if you see some familiar Food Network faces at the Thanksgiving table with Flay, Williamson, and her son. And while Williamson and Flay’s romantic relationship may be more recent, they’ve had a long friendship before that. Which means, spending time around Flay is nothing new for her son, Hudson. “They’ve known each other for years,” Williamson said. The same is true for Flay’s daughter, Sophie Flay, who recently joined the pair to shoot Celebrity Family Feud. Together they all won $25,000 for charity!
