Brooke Shields Returning to 'When Calls the Heart' in Season 13

Brooke Shields is returning to Hope Valley. The actor is set to appear in three episodes of the upcoming Season 13 of Hallmark’s “When Calls the Heart.”
Shields first appeared in two episodes of the drama in 2016 during the show’s third season. She will reprise her role as Jack’s mother, Charlotte Thornton, in three episodes. (Jack, portrayed by Daniel Lissing, died off-screen during Season 5.)
The beloved period piece stars Erin Krakow, Kevin McGarry, Jack Wagner, Chris McNally, Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith. The new season is set to premiere in 2026 on Hallmark Channel, streaming the next day on Hallmark+.
Season 12 ended in March, with Elizabeth (Krakow) and Nathan (McGarry) heading to stay at her former mother-in-law Charlotte’s (Shields) boarding house. The new season will include “a heartwarming connection between Charlotte and her grandson, Little Jack (Hyland Goodrich), as she helps him reconnect with memories of his father.”

“When Calls the Heart” is based on the Janette Oke novel of the same name. It is an All Canadian Entertainment Production in association with Brad Krevoy Television and Believe Pictures. Brad Krevoy, Brian Bird, Michael Landon Jr., Joy Gregory, Mike Rohl, Jimmy Townsend, Amy Hartwick, Erin Krakow, Susie Belzberg and Michael Shepard are executive producers; Vicki Sotheran and Greg Malcolm are producers.
