After the game, Bryant discussed the decision and what went into the thought process behind it."I just wanted to make sure I got the Mile High Salute in, especially with the throwbacks," Bryant said. "I've been hearing a lot about it this week. So I mean, very special moment." Bryant said the celebration, in a way, was to honor Broncos history and the fan base that has embraced him since draft night. The rookie's salute, along with Nix's gesture, showed a glimpse of the culture Sean Payton is building in Denver: one built on respect, teamwork, and tradition.
