Broncos team list: Reynolds ready to go
There are no concerns for the fitness of Michael Maguire’s team, with the Broncos 1-17 as named on Tuesday. Here’s what they look like today.
1. Reece Walsh, 2. Josiah Karapani, 3. Kotoni Staggs, 4. Gehamat Shibasaki, 5. Deine Mariner, 6. Ben Hunt, 7. Adam Reynolds (c), 8. Corey Jensen, 9. Cory Paix, 10. Payne Haas, 11. Brendan Piakura, 12. Jordan Riki, 13. Tyson Smoothy

NRL grand final entertainment on injury watch

Seven days out from the decider and we’ve got our first injury scare – grand final entertainer extraordinaire Teddy Swims is being managed by medical staff after having to pull out of his most recent shows in Hawaii.
Swims officially pulled the pin on a couple of gigs in Honolulu this afternoon (AEST) due to illness, confirming the news on his Instagram.
“Honolulu, I’m sorry to let you know that both tonight’s show (Saturday, Sept. 27) and tomorrow’s (Sunday, Sept. 28) rescheduled performance will not be taking place. My doctor has not cleared me to sing, and I need a little time to recover before I can give you the show you deserve.
“I hate to disappoint you and truly apologize for letting you down. Thank you for your love, patience, and understanding.“
The big man is due to touch down in Australia on Thursday and at this point, the NRL is comfortable he’ll be right for Sunday at Accor Stadium.
The AFL threw down the pre-game entertainment with Snoop at the ‘G’ on Saturday (and paid a small fortune to do so). Mr Dogg was joined by Aussie locals Baker Boy, Tash Sultana and Jessica Mauboy, as well as a full brass band.
Despite having to include the traditional songs of both teams in his intro, it was sick.

The NRL declined to comment on the hurt and betrayal felt watching Mauboy do her thing for the rival code given she was once on an NRL retainer and performed every rugby league event possible a few years ago.
To be fair though, who wouldn’t ditch the 13-man game to perform a Snoop duet? The look on Mauboy’s face performing Beautiful (while dancing like a daggy mum) was only trumped by Baker Boy’s didgeridoo intro to Still D.R.E.
Get well Teddy Swims, then aim up – the AFL set a stupidly high bar on Saturday.

Good afternoon footy fans.
We have a massive match this afternoon. In my opinion, the match of the season so far.
It’s the Broncos and the Panthers going head-to-head at Suncorp Stadium for a spot in next week’s grand final against the Storm.
Billie Eder here to take you through this afternoon’s action, with Dan Walsh on the ground in Brisbane.
Kick-off is 4.05pm. We’ll bring you news and team lists until then.
