This is my second visit to the Gtech Community Stadium. I first visited two seasons ago when Brentford played United off the park, only for Mount to come on from the bench and score in the sixth minute of added time. United thought they had snatched three points, but Brentford went up the other side of the pitch and scored in the ninth minute of injury time. Last season’s fixture here was another entertaining game, with Brentford winning 4-3. That was played in May when United didn’t have anything to compete for in the league. Youngsters Amass and Fredricson started. United have not won away at Brentford since January 2022 when Greenwood, Elanga and Rashford scored.
