The prime minister said 'Chhath Mahaparv' is a unique confluence of faith, devotion, and love for nature where, both the setting and rising Sun are offered prayers, and even the offerings reflect nature's various hues."The songs and melodies sung during Chhath are filled with devotion and the spirit of nature," he said. "It was my privilege yesterday to have the opportunity to visit Begusarai. Bihar's 'Kokila,' Sharda Sinha ji, shares a soulful connection with Begusarai. Through their songs, Sharda Sinha ji and many folk artistes from Bihar have added a special emotion to the celebration of Chhath," PM Modi said.Read PM's Full Message in Hindi Here:नहाय-खाय के पावन अनुष्ठान के साथ आज से चार दिवसीय महापर्व छठ का शुभारंभ हो रहा है। बिहार सहित देशभर के श्रद्धालुओं को मेरी हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं। सभी व्रतियों को मेरा नमन और वंदन!हमारी संस्कृति का यह विराट उत्सव सादगी और संयम का प्रतीक है, जिसकी पवित्रता और नियम-निष्ठा अतुलनीय है। इस पावन अवसर पर छठ के घाटों पर जो दृश्य दिखाई देता है, उसमें पारिवारिक और सामाजिक सद्भाव की अद्भुत प्रेरणा होती है। छठ की प्राचीन परंपरा का हमारे समाज पर बहुत गहरा प्रभाव रहा है।आज विश्व के कोने कोने में छठ को संस्कृति के महाउत्सव के रूप में मनाया जाता है। पूरी दुनिया में रहने वाले भारतवंशी परिवार, इसकी परंपराओं में पूरी आत्मीयता से सम्मिलित होते हैं। मेरी कामना है कि छठी मइया सबको अपना भरपूर आशीर्वाद दें।छठ महापर्व आस्था, उपासना और प्रकृति प्रेम का एक अनूठा संगम है। इसमें जहां अस्ताचलगामी और उदीयमान सूर्यदेव को अर्घ्य दिया जाता है, वहीं प्रसाद में भी प्रकृति के विविध रंग समाहित होते हैं। छठ पूजा के गीत और धुनों में भी भक्ति और प्रकृति का अद्भुत भाव भरा होता है।मेरा सौभाग्य है कि कल ही, मुझे बेगूसराय जाने का अवसर मिला था। बिहार कोकिला शारदा सिन्हा जी का बेगूसराय से आत्मीय रिश्ता रहा है। शारदा सिन्हा जी और बिहार के कई लोक कलाकारों ने अपने गीतों से, छठ के उत्सव को एक अलग भाव से जोड़ा है।आज इस महापर्व पर मैं आज आप सभी के साथ छठी मइया के ऐसे गीतों को साझा कर रहा हूं, जिन्हें सुनकर हर कोई मंत्रमुग्ध हो जाएगा।
