Bratislava’s Nivy Tower among the world’s top 10 office buildings

Nivy Tower, at 125 metres the tallest office building in Slovakia, has officially joined the global elite. In a specialised survey it scored 84.8 out of 100, securing eighth place in the ranking of the world’s top ten office buildings.

The survey was conducted by Leesman, a London-based company specialising in the assessment of workplace environments. Based on the results, Nivy Tower was awarded the prestigious Leesman+ certificate, which is granted only to top-tier workplaces. Just 20 companies worldwide currently hold the certificate, with office buildings in Milan and Amsterdam topping the list. Nivy Tower is the only Slovak representative in the global top ten, and one of just five buildings in Europe to make the cut.

“The workplace has a significant impact on how people feel and how they work,” said Peggie Rothe, Chief Insights & Research Officer at Leesman. “Nivy Tower is a great example of a building that supports not only health and performance, but also collaboration, corporate culture, and a sense of community.”

The Leesman survey at Nivy Tower, which was developed and is managed by HB Reavis, ran between June 2 and 20, 2025, among 535 employees working in the building.

It revealed a high level of satisfaction among its occupants. Nine in ten respondents consider Nivy Tower a pleasant place to work. Nearly as many proudly welcome visitors to their workplace, while 92 percent believe the building enhances their company’s image in the eyes of clients and potential recruits. Respondents also highlighted the positive impact on corporate culture and sustainability.

“At the core of our philosophy, which we have also embodied in Nivy Tower and which has been recognised both by users and by Leesman, is – alongside sustainability – the creation of workplaces where employees feel comfortable and supported in terms of performance, satisfaction, and long-term loyalty,” said Matúš Lipták, COO of HB Reavis, as cited in a press release.
