GUJRAT – Boys failed to break the jinx once more, as female students clinched all top honours in the Associated Degree in Science, Arts, and Commerce (ADA/ADS/ADC) Part II Annual Examinations 2025, the results of which were announced by the University of Gujrat (UoG) on Wednesday.
These examinations were conducted in June–July 2025. A grand ceremony was organized at Hafiz Hayat Campus to honour the position holders with certificates and cash prizes. The event was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Zahoor Ul Haq, with Controller of Examinations Tanzila Qamar serving as host.
Distinguished guests included Faculty Deans Prof. Dr Zahid Yousaf and Prof. Dr Faisal Mahmood Mirza, principals of UoG-affiliated colleges, faculty members, parents, and students. Yasir Hussain Jami moderated the ceremony.
Following the formal declaration of results by the Controller of Examinations, Prof. Dr Zahoor Ul Haq — flanked by Tanzila Qamar and Registrar Muhammad Naeem Butt — presented certificates and cash prizes of Rs25,000, Rs20,000 and Rs15,000 to the first, second and third position holders respectively.

The vice chancellor congratulated the achievers and offered them fully-funded scholarships should they choose UoG for higher education. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting their academic journey during their stay at the campus.
Elaborating further, he shared that approximately Rs200 million in scholarships from UoG’s own resources — out of a total of Rs250 million earmarked for the purpose — have already been distributed.
In ADP science exams, Sawera Amjad of Govt Asghar Ali College for Women, Kharian, secured first position by obtaining 661 marks. Alishba Tahir of Zareef Shaheed Degree College for Women, Bhair Ratial, Gujjar Khan, grabbed second position by securing 657 marks while Zomia Nazam of Punjab College (W) Lalamusa (Wehnd) secured third position with 648 marks.
In the ADP Arts exams, Shanza Mudassar of ILM College GT Road, Gujrat, claimed first position by securing 634 marks. Adan Saleem of Punjab College (W) Lalamusa (Wehnd) shared second position with Ariqa Zahid of Superior College, Jalal Pur Jattan, with 616 marks each. Third position was also shared by Tooba Sajjad of Govt ID Janjua College for Women, Lalamusa, and Benazir Shaheed College for Women, Bhagat, Mandi Bahauddin’s Khadija Fatima with 610 marks.
In the ADP Commerce stream, Rania Noor with 1175 marks, Pakeeza Mahroof with 1158 and Ifra Bibi with 1051 marks, claimed the first, second and third position respectively. The trio belonged to the Saint Francis Degree College of Commerce in Sara-i-Alamgir.
As many as 422 students appeared in ADP Science exams, 2557 in ADP Arts and 110 in ADP Commerce stream. The percentage of success in ADP Science was 75.30 in ADP Arts 61.44 and in ADP Commerce 50.91.
