Boys & Girls Clubs receive youth program grant

Petaluma Poultry has awarded $50,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin for its after-school programs. In an October 29 news release, Nathan Bryner, Complex HR Manager for Petaluma Poultry, said “We are continuing our investment in our youth and their futures. By partnering with organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs, we ensure that their bright futures start now with strong programming and servicesfor kids of all ages and economic backgrounds.” The nonprofit’s CEO, Jennifer Weiss, said “The reality is kids need us now more than ever, we’re seeing rising challenges in mental health, academic recovery, and access to safe, supportive spaces — and support from Petaluma Poultry helps us meet those needs head-on. Together, we’re building brighter futures — one child at a time.” Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin serves more than 11,000 youth each year at more than 30 locations.
