This views-over-safety culture could lead to real-world harm, from physical injury and property damage to the spread of misinformation and the loss of social trust. Recently, a video of a woman grabbed attention on social media as she recorded a reel video of the moment her kid accidentally locked himself inside a bathroom – and his subsequent rescue. Mom Records Her Kid’s Bathroom Rescue In the clip, a woman is seen explaining how her son had locked the bathroom door from the inside and was unable to open it despite her repeated instructions. “My son accidentally locked himself inside the bathroom and has been crying continually. He was terrified, and so was I. I couldn’t figure out what to do. Then I called my neighbour,” she said in the video, which shows her visibly concerned while her son sobs inside the bathroom.
