    Bounty GCC, Old Fort secure wins on opening night

    National Hockey Championship

    Bounty Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) and Old Fort recorded respective divisional wins when the Guyana Hockey Board (GHB) Indoor Championships commenced last night at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue.

    In the Men’s Open Division, Bounty GCC crushed GCC Outlaws 8-3.

    On the other hand, Old Fort bested Hikers Hatchets 2-0 in the Boy’s U-17 division. Jhander Carpio opened the scoring in the 14th minute, while they doubled their advantage one minute later.
