Boulder • 28th Street improvements — Pearl to Iris: This project will improve multimodal travel along 28th Street from Pearl to Iris. Northbound 28th and Valmont Road RTD Stop No. 17992 serving 205 and BOLT routes will be temporarily relocated to just south of the Valmont intersection until Dec. 31. • 19th Street and Fourmile Canyon Creek Underpass: Crews will begin replacing the bridge over Fourmile Canyon Creek and construct a bike/pedestrian underpass. Northbound 19th Street will be closed to all travel between Sumac and Upland. Vehicle/RTD service detour via Quince. Work is anticipated to end April 1. • 63rd waterline replacement: 63rd, Andrus and 62nd will be closed from Jay to Valmont for through traffic. Business and residential access will be maintained. Work is expected to be completed on April 1. • Milling and paving on Colo. 7: Milling and paving operations are expected through late October, with expected project completion Dec. 15. Eastbound and westbound alternating double-lane closures between 28th Street and Cherryvale Road will occur from 7 a.m.-midnight Monday-Friday. Boulder County • Sugarloaf Road culvert replacement at Betasso Road: Two culvert replacements on Sugarloaf Road at Betasso Road will require lane closures and the installation of a temporary three-way traffic signal, which will result in travel delays. Work is anticipated to last into November. Access to Betasso Preserve will be maintained. • City of Boulder 63rd Street waterline replacement: Boulder is conducting a waterline replacement project that will have traffic impacts through February. Throughout the project, 63rd Street / Andrus Road / 62nd Street will be closed between Jay and Valmont and open to local and business access only. Both lanes of traffic on 63rd Street between Gunbarrel Avenue to the 63rd Street railroad crossing will shift to the east side of 63rd Street. The Road Maintenance Division will be replacing a deteriorating culvert at the Boulder Whiterock Ditch starting Monday. The work will require a full closure of 63rd Street between Jay Road and Twin Lakes Road through mid-November. • Colo. 119 safety, mobility and bikeway construction: CDOT work on Colo. 119 / Diagonal Highway. This project is anticipated to be completed in spring 2027. Erie • Prince Lake Dam rehabilitation: Sema is working on rehabilitation work on the Prince Lake Dam at 111th Street and Flatiron Meadows Boulevard. The project will continue through March 2026 and includes rebuilding a section of the dam and installing drainage infrastructure along 111th Street. Work trucks and equipment will use 111th Street for site access, and while no lane closures are planned, drivers may experience brief delays when trucks enter or exit the site. • Erie Parkway and Glacier Drive traffic signal project: Lane closures on Erie Parkway and Glacier Drive for traffic signal installation through December on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. • WCR 1.5 and 3 closures: Weld County will fully close WCR 1.5 between Erie and WCR 3, and WCR 3 between WCR 10 and 10.5 through Nov. 26 for maintenance. The closure will be in place 24 hours a day.
