Finally, Gearbox has hinted at what’s to come after Q1 2026:

Bounty Packs 3 + 4
Story Pack 2
Invincible bosses

As mentioned above, Gearbox has offered a detailed explanation of what a lot of this content actually is. The Vault Card offers a bunch of rewards that are earned through gameplay. Non-cosmetic gear in the card can be earned repeatedly so you can chase that ideal roll. Additionally, these do not expire and having one active gives you more loot and XP via Daily and Weekly challenges.

As for Invincible Bosses, these aren’t actually invincible but they do have a ton of health. More than that, these bosses have unique mechanics, lethal attacks, and have new modifiers. These bosses drop the best loot in the game.

Pearlescent Rarity is exactly as it sounds. These sit above Legendary weapons, so expect them to be exceedingly rare. But expect them to have a power level that matches their scarcity.

Horrors of Kairos sounds like the Halloween themed mini-event that’s coming to Borderlands 4. This is a limited-time event featuring new weather, cosmetics, and Legendary gear. Make sure you get in and play it before it leaves.

And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Borderlands game without the Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. As part of Free Content 2, Gearbox is adding more levels to UVHM, ensuring that endgame pursuit remains constant.

That’s quite a lot of content already confirmed as part of the Borderlands 4 roadmap. Keep an eye on the game’s social media platforms as well as our own Borderlands 4 page for the latest on content drops.
